La obra de éste artista nace de su más genuina creatividad e imaginación. La espontaneidad, el desenfado y la constante experimentación, son rasgos inherentes al proceso creativo de Meulenert. La figura humana, los temas sociales, lo cotidiano, juega un papel preponderante dentro de mi obra, siendo las temáticas más generales sobre las cuales discursa. Tiene en su haber más de 70 exposiciones entre personales y colectivas, nacionales e internacionales, ganador de varios reconocimientos y becas; su obra forma parte de diferentes colecciones privadas de países como Italia, Estados Unidos, Inglaterra, Irlanda, Autralia, Francia, España, Italia, entre otros.
The artist Michel V. Meulenert (Havana 1979), graduated from the University of the Arts (ISA), Faculty of Visual Arts. Member of the Plastic Arts Section of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC). His artistic practices include media such as painting, sculpture, drawing, illustration, installations, and interventions in public spaces. The human figure, social issues, the spiritual, the everyday, play a preponderant role within the work, being the most general themes on which he speaks. In his works, he arranges a gestural and deconstruction scenario to play with forms, creating suggestive and dissolved environments that caress the border between the figurative and abstraction. The work of this artist is born from his most genuine creativity and imagination, spontaneity and constant experimentation are inherent features of Meulenert's creative process, based on experiences that are used as artistic material and each work is assumed as a record of that. He has to his credit more than 70 personal and collective, national and international exhibitions, winner of various awards and scholarships; His work is part of different private collections in countries such as the United States, England, Argentina, France, Spain, Italy, Latvia.
